Job Summary

Centrus Auto Finance/WestMark Auto Finance in Dallas, TX is the place for you!  Our Funders perform credit investigations, application information verifications, submitted financial information/validation and loan boarding processes of indirect automobile finance contracts. The Funders will ensure documentation is accurate, complete and factual prior to funding and will have heavy interaction with Credit Analysts, Automobile Dealer Customers, Company Reps, Sales Representatives, Retail Customers, and Credit References.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Review income documentation, calculate and verify DTI and PTI ratios to ensure accuracy prior to funding;
  • Correct inaccurate information prior to funding;
  • Communicate required approval stipulations and/or information requested for contract purchase to Dealer Customer, Sales Representative, Customer and Internal Staff;
  • Prepare correspondence for Sales Representative and Dealer customers (would include current status of contract, overnight packages, etc.);
  • Perform verifications of employment, residency and insurance;
  • Interview customers in order to obtain and verify personal and financial data prior to funding contract.


  • Bilingual English/Spanish is required;
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred;
  • MUST HAVE A MINIMUM of FIVE (5) years experience in an automotive credit environment with Funding experience of at least THREE (3) years;
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as email, word processing, managing files and records, filing systems, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology;
  • Above average analytical skills;
  • Above average customer service & communication & phone skills;
  • Strong negotiations, computer and consultative selling/buying skills;
  • Ability to operate a personal computer and its associated software applications (Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Word, Outlook & PowerPoint as well as PDF, Adobe etc.);
  • Reading and comprehension, math and typing skills;
  • Good verbal, people and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize work and maintain general office functions;
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member;
  • Full-time Monday – Friday 11AM – 8PM, occasional Saturdays

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
You must be able to establish, maintain and grow and develop a dealer base and market with both Franchise and Independent Auto Dealerships. You will promote our programs to dealerships, and grow business within our guidelines and performance measures as well as assisting our corporate office with dealer and customer issues.

Previous auto sales, auto finance or sub-prime finance company representative experience is a plus but we will provide the necessary training and tools to secure your success.
